Our First Week!
What a week this was. We started out with a great ribbon cutting ceremony provided by the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce. We enjoyed seeing our Chamber President Rose Erikson of the Moth Hole and many others. We hope to be able to post the pictures in our gallery.
Interesting as that was, the next day was crazy. Mark Glover, the Sacramento Bee Business Editor, had posted on the front page of the business section our grand opening information. My oh my did we have traffic on Saturday. It was wonderful to have many of our friends come out and join us in the celebration. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves; we couldn't have done it without all the support and encouragement.
The rest of the week seemed to just fly by. The word is spreading about the shop. By Wednesday, we had received the rest of our tea and the scales to measure it out with. We still wait for the bags to put the loose tea in. We currently are making do with zip locks.
Today, Friday, we opened with reduced hours for the July 4th holiday, T was thankful that the door had finally stopped ringing long enough to tackle some house keeping in the office. We soon should be completely moved and have all things dialed in as they should be.
